Intoxicated Driver Program Assessment (IDP)
  • If convicted of an Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) offense, part of the court order will include a requirement to complete a Wisconsin Alcohol Impaired Driver Assessment. If a resident of Brown County, call (920) 391-4720 to schedule an assessment. Fees for IDP assessments are $300 per assessment and need to be paid by money order or credit card.  For information on approved treatment programs, please visit www.dhs.wi.gov.
  • Once the assessment is completed, a driver safety plan will be developed. If the driver safety plan requires treatment, there are a number of agencies to choose from. If insurance coverage, may choose from providers that accept that coverage. If no insurance coverage, many agencies offer services for fees that may be set based on income.
