Adult MH AODA Self Referral

Outpatient Psychiatric Medication Management 
  • Psychiatrist and Psychiatric APNP providers assess and diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, and monitor effectiveness.  This includes long-acting injectable medications and Clozaril management.   
Outpatient Mental Health Psychotherapy  
  • Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Clinical Social Workers provide individual therapy and may include the following modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Trauma Informed, and Person Centered Care.   
Outpatient Substance Use Treatment Services 
  • Intoxicated Driver Program Assessment (IDP) 
  1. If convicted of an Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) offense, the court order will include a requirement to complete a Wisconsin Alcohol Impaired Driver Assessment. If a resident of Brown County, call (920) 391-4720 to schedule an assessment. Fees for IDP assessments are $300 per assessment and need to be paid by money order or credit card.  For information on approved treatment programs, please visit www.dhs.wi.gov.
  2. Once the assessment is completed, a driver safety plan will be completed. If the driver safety plan requires treatment, there are a number of agencies to choose from. If there is insurance coverage, may choose from providers that accept that coverage. If no insurance coverage, many of the agencies offer services for fees that may be set based on income.
  • Substance Use Counseling 
Substance Use Counselors will meet for an initial evaluation and provide recommendations on treatment, including individual and group counseling options.  

Residential Substance Use Treatment  
  • Brown County residents are encouraged to seek residential substance use treatment providers directly for eligibility for intake.  Once a facility has been identified, residents are encouraged to contact our Clinical Intake Worker at 920-391-4723 for assistance with coordinating care and payment for residential care.
